After a long time with no post, i show you all a new program i have been working on for the last 3 weeks. As the name of the post says, its an atlas generator for Presagis Creator, a 3D software focused in the 3D simulation field.
The beauty of the this atlas generator is that it reads all the 3D files and generates crop images before building the atlases. This way it doesnt waste too many space within the textures, as it generates crop textures based on all the polygons mappings read from the 3D files.
It allows us to specify a padding between the different crop images and allow rotation if necessary. Of course the software recalculates the new uv coordinates for every polygon within the 3D file.
